Overview of your Settings page

Updated over a week ago

It is important to have all your settings as accurate as possible since Seona will base all of its recommendations based on this understanding of your business.

Business Tab

Profile Name and Description

Your profile name should be the exact name of your business as you want your customers to know it. Your business description should be a succinct summary of what your business does. The ideal length of your business description is about 140 words.

If you make changes to your name and description, it will be implemented in all future blog posts. It will only change your code changes if you decide to have Seona regenerate your code changes. We do recommend regenerating your code changes upon change.

Services

The services section should have your business's primary services (or product lines if your business sells products). You can add as many services as you choose but ideally you keep it under 10 and choose your business's most important ones.

Language

Your chosen language is the language Seona writes your blog posts and code changes in. Note that Seona will display all keywords in English but will translate all blogs and code changes for your website.

If you are changing your chosen language, Seona will write all new blogs in that language and it will automatically regenerate all your code changes and your previous code changes will not be recoverable. So be sure before you change your language! Please wait up to 10 minutes for Seona to change your code changes to another language.

Location

Your location plays a big role in how Seona makes suggestions for your site. About half the blogs Seona writes are tailored to your location. The code changes title and descriptions take your location into account heavily as well. You can have multiple locations (which you should have as a comma separated list) but you optimally have no more than 2-3.

If you make changes to your location, it will be implemented in all future blog posts. It will only change your code changes if you decide to have Seona regenerate your code changes. We do recommend regenerating your code changes upon change.

Blog Post Publishing Preferences

Choose from the following options to define how Seona handles the publishing of your blog posts:

  • Automatically Post:

    • After Seona writes a blog post, it will be displayed on your Seona dashboard and scheduled to automatically post in one week.

    • During this period, you have the flexibility to review and make edits to the blog post as needed.

    • Note: This option requires your website to be built on a preferred website provider.

  • Approve Before Posting:

    • After Seona writes a blog post, it will be displayed on your Seona dashboard and scheduled to post in one week.

    • During this time, you can review and edit the blog post.

    • You must approve the blog post through the dashboard to authorize Seona to post it to your website on the scheduled date. If approval is not granted before the scheduled post date, you can still access the blog post through the dashboard to approve it later.

    • Note: This option requires your website to be built on a preferred website provider.

  • Manual:

    • After Seona writes a blog post, it will be displayed on your Seona dashboard.

    • You can review, edit, and manually post the blog to your website whenever you choose.

Blog Post Schedule

Select the day of the week on which Seona publishes your blogs. If you have multiple blogs scheduled for a week, Seona evenly spaces them out throughout the chosen week, starting with the selected day.

AI Image Settings

Customize the appearance of images in your blogs with Seona's AI image settings under Settings -> Blog Posts:

  • Toggle between AI-generated images and stock photos for your blogs.

  • Select the theme of the AI-generated images to align with your brand aesthetic and content style.

By fine-tuning these settings, you can streamline your content creation process and ensure that your blog posts align seamlessly with your brand identity and publishing schedule.

Settings -> Code Changes

Code Change Tab

Customize how Seona handles code changes on your site with the Code Change Preferences section:

  • Automatically Applied: Opt for this setting to have all code changes automatically applied to your site in real-time. This seamless integration ensures that your website stays up-to-date with Seona's recommendations without any manual intervention.

  • Not Automatically Applied: Prefer a more hands-on approach? Choose this setting to review and apply code changes manually. With this option, you have full control over which recommendations are implemented on your site, allowing for a more personalized optimization process.

Regenerate Code Changes

Under Settings -> Code Changes, you have the option to regenerate the code changes on your site. However, it's crucial to proceed with extreme caution when using this feature. Regenerating code changes will erase all existing modifications made by Seona. This action should only be taken if you believe there is an error with the current code changes on your site. Exercise careful consideration before regenerating code changes to avoid unintended consequences.
