How do I publish my site?
Click Publish in the top right corner and follow the instructions that pop up.
How do I host my site if I do not have a domain name? Will Crafta provide one for me?
Yes! In fact, you can get a free domain name when you use Crafta. If you select a domain name after clicking publish with Crafta, your site will be up and running on that domain name within 24 hours for no additional cost. No additional work is needed on that end.
How do I host my site if I do have a domain name? Can my Crafta site link to that URL?
Yes! Once you have selected publish, click “I have my own” on the pop up that inquires about the domain name to use. Once you have registered and paid, you will have to follow a set list of instructions to transfer the domain name to point to your Crafta site. The instructions are below:
Navigate to your account or domains dashboard for providers like Namecheap, GoDaddy, or Squarespace.
Select the domain you want to connect and navigate to DNS.
Delete all type A records with the name or host set to @.
Add a new type A record as shown.
Type: A
Name or host: @
Value or IPv4 address: 34.135.68.181
TTL: 4 hours or automatic
Save your changes
If you followed the instructions correctly, you will see your URL point to your new Crafta site in 24 hours. If you followed the instructions incorrectly, you will be contacted by a member of our team with in 24 hours.
I have hosted my Crafta site on one domain name but now want to change it to another domain name. Can I do this?

Can I preview my Crafta site on a temporary domain before publishing to my final domain?
Yes you can! Once you have chosen your final domain name and registered an account, you will be given a temporary URL that you can preview all changes on.
I published my website over 24 hours ago but the URL I chose is not pointing to my new Crafta site.
Make sure you published correctly and that you followed the instructions that popped up after selecting publish.

If I cancel my Crafta subscription, will I still have access to my domain name?
If you got a free domain name with StyleAI, then will transfer the domain name for you, just reach out to our team here.
If you own your domain name and had it simply point to your Crafta site, you will own your domain name regardless of your Crafta subscription but your site will disappear.
Can I add GSuite functionality or other tools that I would want to add to my domain name?
If StyleAI has purchased your domain name for you and you want to add additional functionality to it such as email, we can do that. Reach out to a member of our team here and we will transfer ownership of the domain name to you.
